The Suns will cap their training camp in Tucson with the annual Purple-Orange scrimmage on Friday (a departure from the normal Saturday event) Oct. 3 at McKale Center. The game will tip-off at 5 p.m.

 The Suns moved up their scrimmage a day so not to conflict with University of Arizona football (the Wildcats host Washington at 4 p.m. on Oct. 4). And the early tip will not conflict with the popular Friday night prep football games.

 The Suns, who arrive in Tucson on Sept. 30 and begin workouts on Oct. 1, will break camp one day earlier as well, departing for Phoenix after a closed practice on the morning of Oct. 4. They will have two-a-day workouts on Oct. 1-2 and practice in the morning prior to the scrimmage on Oct. 3.
